Synopsis
Most stories are about pretty maidens stolen by dragons who wait for a knight to swoop in to save them, but Creel is not a damsel in distress! Her aunt sends her to the local dragon, so a knight will save and marry her, but Creel is used to doing things her own way. She talks her way out of the dragon’s lair and travels to the capital with only a bit of thread and a sturdy pair of slippers. Creel has no idea that her slippers are magic and have the power to save or destroy the entire kingdom.
