My Thoughts

Wither is a very different take on the traditional dystopian society. I was sucked in super quickly! Wither is the first book of a three-book series. There are times when the story gets a little slow, but the majority moves quickly. Throughout the series, Rhine has to figure out who she can trust, which is ever-changing. Plus, you know making sure she stays alive, finds her brother, and maybe lives a little before she dies. But first, she has to figure out a way to escape.

Recommendations

This book is best for older teens (17+) and young adults because of the heavy topics. If you are a fan of hunger games or other dystopian books, you will probably enjoy this one. For more books similar to this check out this post full of dystopian books and this post with clean romance novels.
